The pharmaceutical customer that required this custom fabricated chute supplied Multimetal Products Corporation with the renderings and materials specifications. The finished part, which measured 24″ x 8″ x 8″, weighed in at 25 lbs. and required the use of a wide range of fabrication capabilities. Fasteners where manufactured utilizing our lathe and machining centers, the chute components where laser cut and formed from 304 stainless steel. Components where assembled using TIG welding and then polished to a #4 finish inside and out.

To be used in a clean room environment the part had to be clean and precise, all of our processes met tolerance of ±”.010″. We manufacture this product in batches of 1 to 8 pieces, with leads times of 3 to 4 weeks. To learn more about this welded and polished stainless steel project, see the table below.
