With the ability to process materials from thin sheet to 6” thick plate, our custom MIG, TIG and spot welding services can be used on a variety of products. Specializing in aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel manufacturing, our free hand welding process can also work with a broad range of alternate materials such as bronze, copper, and brass.

Multimetal Products Corporation has a large welding staff that can tackle any project no matter the size.

We offer a wide range of arc/resistance welding processes, including (but not limited to) GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding). Our MIG and TIG welding services are always ISO compliant and meet with high industry standards. Please contact us to assist you on your next project.

Arc/Resistance Welding Processes
  • FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding)
This process uses similar equipment as GMAW but in place of standard solid wire uses wire consisting of a steel electrode surrounding a powder fill material.
  • GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding)
Also known as metal inert gas or MIG welding.
  • GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding)
Also known as Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding. This process uses a non consumable tungsten electrode, an inert gas and a separate filler material. This process is sometimes mistakenly referred to as Heliarc welding.
  • MIG
Metal Inert Gas welding, also referred to as Gas Metal Arc Welding.
  • Resistance
Resistance welding is a process where heat is generated by passing current through the resistance caused by the contact between two or more metal surfaces to be joined.
  • SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding)
Also known as Manual Metal Arc Welding or Stick welding. This process uses a consumable electrode rod, which as the filler material, that is covered in flux that protects the weld area from oxidation and contamination.
  • Spot
Spot welding is form of resistance welding used to join overlapping metal sheets. Two electrodes are used to clamp the sheets together and pass the current between them.
  • Stud
Stud welding is a form of Spot welding where a bolt or weld nut is welded to another metal part. The bolts are often fed automatically into the welder.
  • TIG
Tungsten Inert Gas welding. Also referred to as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding.
